Taxes $10.35

Total $125.35

Grand total for 5 nights 6 days $216.05 american 275.493 CAD

Split the room and its even cheaper!!!

Hope this helps a few people!!!

For anybody from Vancouver island thinking of going!!!

Yes it is only 90.70 but factor in getting to and fro to Bellingham..With our ferry prices, gas etc. it isn%26#39;t much difference for the convenience of flying direct from Victoria to Las Vegas for 320.00.I just returned and loved the ease.Worth its weight in gold in my opinion. You can also get IP rooms very cheap on own ,too!~

For anybody from Vancouver island thinking of going!!!

Sorry, this is with Westjet.IF you have an airmiles card you can use that too.!

to me, the trip from the island to bellingham would be a deal breaker.

ferry for your car and you = $56 each way

plus gas.

plus the fact that it%26#39;s a drive to the ferry, almost 2 hours on the ferry and then waiting in the border lines and driving to bellingham. adding probably 5 hours to your travel time. each way.

and then you do it all again on the way home tired from your vegas vacation.

adding together the $112 to the grand total for ferry costs, plus gas, plus if you have to pay to park at the airport, plus the extra time on both ends... i%26#39;d rather pay the extra $50 bucks or so to just fly direct.

and if you have to take extra days off work to accommodate the extra travel time to and from the airport, it could actually cost you money to do this.

hmmm... didn%26#39;t mean to sound so negative, lol.

just wanted to make the point that a ';deal'; isn%26#39;t always a deal when you factor in all the variables like time spent, time off work and additional travel costs (ferry, gas %26amp; parking)

Right on kitty!!Forgot to mention the cost of the lovely ferry food and price~

I actually have gone on Allegiant when there were not direct flights.Depending on cost from Vic-Las via Sea-Tac.

I agree with the above posters...with the price of the ferry and unpredictable border line ups, it%26#39;s really not worth the hassle if you can get a seat sale with Westjet (or Alaska or Air Canada). Westjet direct from Victoria can be had for even less than $300 (taxes included) if your dates hit the $59 days (direct flights with Westjet end May 3rd though).

I%26#39;d definitely pay a little extra anyways to fly from Victoria than have to go through all that hassle (geez...you could already be in Vegas playing the slots instead of sitting in the border lineup)!

Wow I have never seen such a group of Canadians NOT wanting to come down to Bellingham!

Wow!!! Ilove it! You have to have the ying with the yang (so to speak) in life. These are all valid points!! And i thank you very much for them! After reading all these suggestions, i tried all these airlines to find these deals you talk of. But could not see anything! If you find such deals i would appreciate the info passed along! So in future trips to vegas, i will have a better understanding of the time factors such as the ferry ,time spent driving ect..

I hope we can bounce trip cost ideas of each other more in the future! It would be greatly appreciated to find good deals from Victoria.

One other thing, we travel in a van together 6 to 8 of us. So the costs are very low for eveything! And the trip there and back with all of us together is quite entertaining :)

Id love to see a forum for us Vancouver Island travelers, to inform each other of incredible deals on future trips. I hope we can provide this to each other at least!!

Thanks again for all your info it is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

I am on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo and for our Vegas trips we only use Allegiant.

Here is my train of thought...

Ferry for 2 there and back $150

parking at bellingham $ 35

flight for 2 $250

gas $ 20

_____

$355

Now I dunno where your talking about flying out of but nothing in Nanaimo (air Canada) get`s even close to this, with there website they are around $900. And west jet from Victoria well I just checked them for a October trip and I had to fly out on a Sunday for direct and fly back on either Thursday or Sunday for direct flights again. To much trouble!

I much prefer to go over early to allow for border line ups, wait at the airport and board my direct flight. Another plus is the flight is 3 times a day so I can choose which one will work for me. And as a cacadian I appreciate the conveinince of landing as an american flight and not dealing with customs on any end.

I am with you island vibe;)

I agree aloha4now, i keep researching their comments ,but cannot find anything that compares, even taking into account ferry costs ect..

Id rather spend the xtra money i save by taking this route, on playing poker! I cant live at home for a week at this price!!;) lol

Thanks for your comment aloha4now
