25-30

Hello,

We are a bunch of young ladies between 25-30 years of age. We are booked for a flight to Vegas on June 12 2009 and we are staying for a week.

We have narrowed down our picks based on location and price to, Flamingo%26#39;s or Bally%26#39;s. Anybody have some words of widsom they would like to share? What would be the more happening hotel?

Neither would be considered ';happenning'; hotels, although at least Flamingo has the pool.

In the same price range you might look into MGM or PH, both are probably closer to what you are looking for.

BTW: Don%26#39;t get hung up on that location, even though it probably was the best 10 years ago. If you are going to be there a week you are going to want to see the whole strip anyway. And many of us feel the best location is now a little further north in the Mirage/TI/Venetian/ Wynn area. While not quite in the middle, it is closer to most things people want to see.

We are in the same age group and we%26#39;ve chosen Bally%26#39;s for our 4 night stay in early March. We stayed at Paris on our last visit, and really liked the location. Bally%26#39;s and Paris are connected, which makes it very convenient. Being centre strip, it%26#39;s a short walk to many places we like to visit, and the fact Bally%26#39;s is on the monorail line is nice, because we can get to the other end of the strip fairly quickly. The price was too good to pass up too. There are some good promo codes out there.

If you selection only includes Flamingo or Bally%26#39;s then I would select Flamingo. Having had stayed there before. The pool scene is great.

if you want to look at lower pricing for other hotels try the following site:

Bally%26#39;s will have a much older average visitor than your group, the general Bally%26#39;s crowd is 40+.

And although Flamingo isn%26#39;t one of the ';party'; hotels, it%26#39;s certainly more happening than Bally%26#39;s, which is a pretty sedate (some would say dull) casino.

The fact that your trip is in June really makes this an easy decision. If you will spend any time at all out by the pools, Flamingo all the way. Flamingo%26#39;s pool area is lush and green, with several pools including a ';European-style'; topless pool if you and your friends are brave enough!!

(Actually, the adult pool is just nicer; quicker drink service, no screaming kids, and more comfy chairs. And your group will have the advantage of free entry, as women don%26#39;t pay the $10 cover!)

In the winter, Flamingo vs. Bally%26#39;s might be a toss-up. In the summer, Flamingo all the way.

Flamingo by a mile for your age group!!!! Have fun.

Flamingo pool can get very crowded while ballys pool seems to be more relaxing with less kids running around. I%26#39;d say ballys same age group been there done it an doin it again in june. The vanilla smell in flamingo can also make some nauseous an too have too smelll that for a whole week can be bad.
