I see awfully cheap rates at the bid hotels for the second week of June and on. Is this a good time to go. Are the rates cheap because the kids are out of school and they will all be there. Has anyone gone this time of year?

Without knowing how cheap ';awfully cheap'; is, it%26#39;s hard to make any kind of comparison.
In general, most Las Vegas properties don%26#39;t follow school schedules in setting rates. It%26#39;s more about conventions, special events in town, and holidays.
(And in many areas of the country schools would still be in session during the second week of June anyway.)

Rates fall in the summer time because of the heat and lack of conventions. It%26#39;s a great time to go. The real heat doesn%26#39;t hit til July or August here.
If you can get great rates in June, Go!
