Ever Won with Free Play?

With all the promos out there now, I%26#39;ve noticed many hotels/casinos are throwing in $25, $35, or more worth of free play if you stay/play with them.

Has anyone here ever won anything more than a few spins or coins?

When we were there in August, we must have received over $300 each in free play but won nothing other than 20 coins or so.

At Hooters and Casino Royale, we received about $150 each but had to play on a group of designated slots that were used solely for free play.

I%26#39;ve done the Casino Royale and the Riviera scams before I realized what they were about. For your casino donation of $40 the Riviera will give you a really dumb shirt that says ';WINNER'; when all you feel like after is a loser for falling for it. lol.

In November we had $250 free play from the Venetian ($50 per day). We won about $200 using $80 on the big $1 slot machine. We didn%26#39;t win anything with the other $170 but we did get to gamble for quite a while.

In February at Silverton, we got $50 free slot play each. We left with $90 cash after a few hours of slot play.

I had $10 free slot play at Binion%26#39;s and didn%26#39;t win a thing!

i can only remember one distinctive ';big'; win.

at tuscany (off strip, behind flamingo). i received $10 in free play, and put it in a penny-slot Megabucks machine. i had three spins with max bet ($3/spin) and on the second one i won $100!!

once the ';free play'; was done with we took our money and ran *L*

My wife got 50 shells in free play a few years back at Harrah%26#39;s in Reno. She put it on the pass line and let it ride on a hot roller until the $50 became $1200, at which point she walked away. I have heard of others doing even better, but no one I know personally.

April 2007 on $15 Freeplay at the Venetien, turned into around $200 on a Wolf Run machine.

July 2007 turned $75 in Freeplay at NYNY into about $20. Took that $20 to a .50 Crystal 7s and turned that into $600

Dec 2008 turned $30 at El Cortez into $80

Yes I have won. I generally save my Free play until the morning I leave. That way if I win something it is like free money that will actually come home with me. Last trip I turned about $180 in Free play into $500. This made me a winner for the Trip!

Wow, everyone....a lot more wins than I would have thought. I guess it is worth the time to stand in line and register.

My girlfriend and I used several matchplays and free slot play last summer.

I won the $25. matchplay at PH plus a couple of smaller wins. My girlfriend won $380. from the $10. free slot play at Venetian after signing up for the players card.

Wife received $100 from Wynn last June. can%26#39;t remember the exact amount but I think she pulled out $130 after playing the $100!
