We are planning a trip for May and trying to decide between Paris or Mirage. Location, pools, room, and availibity of ';reasonable'; quick meals are the most important features (in that order). Can anyone offer any advice? In the past we have stayed at Venetian (loved it, but don%26#39;t want to spend the $ this time), MGM, New York, New York. We are late 20%26#39;s and are traveling with family, my parents are late 50%26#39;s and grandparents are late 70%26#39;s. I will also have my 9 month old with me (no opinions on that please, we will have plenty of childcare on the trip, so she won%26#39;t be in casinos or bars). Thanks!
Paris or Mirage?
Location is good for both, Mirage is right across from harrahs, where there is a food court plus casino royale has a subway,Dennys and outback steak house for cheap quick eats. In the mirage you have california pizza kitchen ,carnegie deli and really good buffett.. I think the rooms are about equal in my book, Iwould suggest mirage.
Paris or Mirage?
I%26#39;m in my late 20s too. Mirage really is more center strip than Paris. Easy access to CP, TI, Venetian/Palazzo, Harrahs, etc. Pool hands down goes to Mirage. Incredible. Haven%26#39;t stayed at Paris, but rooms at Mirage were are remodeled last year. There are a couple of options for reasonable, quick meals at Mirage- California Pizza Kitchen, Carnagie Deli, and a burger joint are all inside. Mirage it should be!!!
I think Mirage wins each feature you mentioned.
Location:
Paris does have what gets referred to as center strip location but I tend to think that kinda has changed when you factor in Venetian/Palazzo %26amp; Wynn/Encore has stretched it further down. When City Center is done, Although this one is really the only close tie.
Pools:
Mirage pools blows the pool at Paris outta the water..pun intended, lol.
Room:
If you%26#39;re gonna bump up to a P Room with a view of Bellagio Fountains and such it comes close but with the remodeled rooms at Mirage, you got the newness factor and they look great.
Quick Meals:
Like mentioned above, tons of choices in this area.
Not sure if it%26#39;s a factor, but with the new Volcano show, it is LOUD when it%26#39;s going off every hour. But worth it to see if you have a strip view room.
Have a great trip!
