Check your Continental Flight Prices

I just checked my Continental Flight prices for July and they went down $40... I%26#39;m glad I hadn%26#39;t booked yet.

I like Continental but Delta had them beat by $130.00 for our trip in July.

48 hours after I booked my USAir flight it dropped 50 dollars. Then 12 hours later it was up 75 from the original price I paid. I cursed myself when it went down but then cheered that it went up and I still saved money.

smokeymountain man--I thought you had booked with United? I%26#39;m still looking for a cheaper flight for Oct... I know its still a long way off, but even then some of the flights are going up for the days we plan to go....by the way we;ll be in cherokee in a couple weeks for our Anniv...and going the 28th to see Billie Currington...

Deni,

Sounds like we got around the same price. I got 168 out of BWI plus taxes and other BS it came to 217. WHich week of July are you heading out

I%26#39;m looking at the 9th through the 14th out of Newark... mine came to $299 after all the taxes and what not

have you looked out of philly or baltimore ?

I normally fly out of PHL on USAir or Southwest, but Continental had better prices and I like their flights better - it should be noted I only fly non-stop...

Casinomama, United allows you tosave your itinaray for I think up to 24 hours before purchasing and that%26#39;s what I did. We are Skymiles members with Delta and do not belong to a frequent flyer program with United. However, with the difference in price, we were going to book United. We went to bingo last night and I had less than an hour to actually book the flights. Before I ';pushed'; the purchase button, I thought I might check one more time and Delat had matched United and the flight times were ok so we booked Delta. The only thing else I had to take care of was modifying our rental car times which was no problem. I guess it always pays to check at the last minute of course the only thing we gained was building our frequent flyer miles up. That%26#39;s something anyway...lol

I DO like the feature United has that allows you to have time to make a final decision before you actually purchase.

Casinomama,

We might be at Cherokee the 28th as my DW%26#39;s birthday offer from Harrahs expires that day. It%26#39;s up in the air as our March Vegas trip is two weeks from Sunday. The indians have a bad habit of keeping my money...lol..seriusly, the DO have the big drawing this Saturday to we may be there too...we got the Currington offer too but didn%26#39;t book it.

Our fare from Knoxville was $280/PP but we have a connection in Atlanta both ways. No nonstops from here except Allegiant and they only fly to Florida now.
