Deals for strip hotels with nice pool from 16-20th march ?

Any nice deals around? MGM has put their prices up for some nights from 49$ to 200$ with the players club escape deal. That specific week seems more expensive than the week before or after, but for what reason? Any other nice deals available for that week? We like a nice pool (in case of nice weather). We tought of MGM, Mirage, TI, Mandalay bay...

Budget around 100$ per night. NY NY still has some good deals for that week but I heard the pool is crap...? Monte Carlo doesn%26#39;t attract us a lot (we%26#39;re young people and it looks a bit %26#39;dusty%26#39; to us...)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bart

Check out fat wallet - the fact that you are visiting over many college spring breaks and the beginning of March Madness might have something to do with the the prices you are seeing.

Mandalay Bay has a fantastic pool, and Mirage and MGM would also be very good choices for pools - although keep in mind it still might be kind of chilly for swimming. Also try Flamingo?

This is more than $100 a night, but you are getting perhaps the best pool in Vegas....

https:/…

Check out that fat wallet site above...

TI has $119/nt., pool is nothing to shout at

MB is much better at $129/avg/nt.

MGM is running $144/nt for some reason

TI--better location

MB--better pool/overall property a step up from TI

Both have a great young vibe

What about PH?

Welcome to March Madness, one of the most expensive times of the year in Las Vegas. This year the NCAA basketball tournament starts March 19th.

My advice: If you don%26#39;t want to change your dates, grab anything you can get that that seems reasonable,ASAP. Book direct with the hotel, and then keep your eyes open. If the rate goes down or you find a better deal you can always cancel %26amp; re-book. Normally there wouldn%26#39;t be much chance of this, but who knows this year when occupancy is so low.

on fat wallet, Bellagio has a great deal at $159/nt.

I know that is a bit high...but quite a good deal compared to TI at $119

Paris at $110 a night is good...like TI, pool is OK.

Mirage is averaging $120/nt--probably the best deal for a nice pool.

(these are all on pgs. 101-103 of fat wallet)

If you don%26#39;t mind staying off strip - Hard Rock is also an option and the prices are pretty reasonable (with the exception of March 20) - hot pool scene and definitely young and hip!

The reviews about Hard Rock hotel really put me of...

In fact we have got a booking already for the MGM for 11-16th of march (5 nights for 408$ incl taxes, so not bad) but now we thought about staying in Vegas the last 4 nights of our holiday and not the first 5 (we will be going to San Diego aswell by rental car) because we thought weekdays would turn out cheaper in Vegas - and quieter. But the cheaper weekdays for that week don%26#39;t really seem to exist... :-((

Maybe we%26#39;ll have to stick with the reservation we have now.

Average daytime high temp in March is 69F; might be a bit cool to spend a lot of time laying around the pool. If that sounds chilly to you, you may want to de-emphasize the importance of the pool in your selection process.

Check on Las Vegas Advisor for a good list of what hotels have pools open/heated all year.

What the heck, here%26#39;s the link:

Personally, I wouldn%26#39;t pay the premium for Mandalay Bay if I couldn%26#39;t take full advantage of the pool.

Have a great trip!

This is the information I got from Weatheronline: average weather for Las vegas for the week of 12-19th of March, based on the last 12 years :

Statistical Weather Conditions

The average weather conditions for Las Vegas/McCarran Airport:

The average daily maximum temperature was between 18°C and 27°C. At night it cooled down to temperatures between 8°C and 14°C.

On average there were 0 days with precipitation. On average there was a gentle breeze of 3 Bft (Beaufort Force). This analysis is based on data from the past 12 years.

Doesn%26#39;t look too bad to me :-)

(In fact we were sunbathing in Morocco last december, the thermometer wasn%26#39;t even that high but it was lovely lying in the sun)

Hey, I punched in all the MGM codes I had and found the best for your dates, March 16-20, averaged $96.50 per night (Grand Tower) with a $25 food/entertainment credit and two free drinks. Book on-line using players%26#39; club code SDM069.

Hope you find what you want.
