Looking to do dinner at either Enoteca San Marco or Carnevino.
Both menus sound good but the feedback and ratings for Enoteca on tripadvisor is not very flattering.
Can anyone offer any additional insight?
Enoteca San Marco or Carnevino?
Sorry, I%26#39;ve never heard of either of those restaurants! (I gotta get out more!)
Maggianos is across the street from Palazzo in the mall...it%26#39;s great too for Italian.
Enoteca San Marco or Carnevino?
For dinner - CarneVino without hesitation...ESM is a good lunch choice, but I don%26#39;t think that the menu really lends itself for dinner (we usually get a few salads/pastas to share, a pizza, meats and cheeses - that type of thing).
CarneVino was really one of my favorite meals in Vegas a few trips ago. It is expensive if you order Italian style (antipasti, pastas, meat, dessert) but it is fan-freakin-tastic! We ordered 2 appetizers (the baked clams and a salad - both were wonderful), two small pastas (literally 5-6 bites of food, and about $35 each, but wow, they were perfectly composed plates of food and delicious - we tried the black fettucinni with crab and jalepeno, as well as the house-made sausage), the porterhouse for two (carved tableside and cooked perfectly), and one side dish. We ordered two wines each by the glass, and our server was wonderful, bringing over a few for us to try and helping us pick things that worked well with out menu. The meal was about 2 1/2 hours, and was well worth the tab! Service was some of the best we have received - attentive, warm, funny, and very accommodating (especially when we asked for more of the great bread they give you!)
Because I looked at this before I decided on carnevino, thought I would share
