Vegas in November

Planning a trip with a few couples to Vegas in November for a 3 or 4 night stay. Is this a ';cheaper'; time to go? And help on picking a hotel. We don%26#39;t need top of the line and we don%26#39;t want bottom of the barrel either. A decent room - within walking distance to alot of the action. Thanks.

It%26#39;s not bad, ive gone before fares were decent.you%26#39;ll probably be flying out of pittsburgh so i recommend checking southwest and flying them they are the best deal out of here. Somethign liek Harrahs or ballys may be suitable. They are mid tier. Harrahs has had more recent renovation. I love the location.

Try to go Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday for lowest hotel rates

Farecast can give you an idea, but it only goes as far as 6 months.

DH and I love Harrah%26#39;s. It is also too early to get the rates for November. Most hotels will post their rates 3 months in advance, although there are specials out there that are running through the summer. If you click on the following link, you can get to the websites of each individual hotel. Click on a hotel of interest. It will be right under the property information, ';Check out their web site.';

Pretty much everything now is cheap and probably won%26#39;t go down anytime soon but November is usually a cheap month especially the week of Thanksgiving and the week after. I%26#39;ve been to Vegas 3 times in November and it can get pretty darn cold by the end of November.

I love going in November, and find that the weather is perfect. I just entered 11/15-11/21 into Bellagio reservations, using the promo code: BSPR25, and found that a deluxe room is around $98 per night, deluxe lakeview is $135 per night. I think these are excellent rates. I don%26#39;t know when in November you would plan to go, or what you consider ';top of the line'; or ';bottom of the barrel';. Just go to the web-sites of some hotels that you%26#39;re interested in and enter some arbitrary dates, and see what rates come up. Keep checking smartervegas.com for promo discount codes. Good luck.

Late November (other than Thanksgiving) can be a cheap time for Vegas. Early November isn%26#39;t especially cheap, but all of Vegas is having great deals this year. Some good things come out of a bad economy.

There are a number of excellent mid-level hotels in good locations. TI/Flamingo/Ballys/Paris/Planet Hollywood/MGM/Monte Carlo. I%26#39;d pick based on which one strikes your fancy, and which one has the best deal. Unfortunately, you won%26#39;t know that until September/October.

Big convention in town 11/3-11/6 so things might be more crowded/expensive then.

Otherwise, November is usually cheaper than some other months, but this is because it%26#39;s off-season. Don%26#39;t be fooled by the fact that it%26#39;s in the desert; it gets chilly in winter and while some hotels have pools open and heated, it%26#39;s not generally pool weather.

First trip I%26#39;d suggest staying mid-strip; Bellagio, Mirage, PH, Paris, etc. Depending on the discounts, these can be very affordable.

Best shopping strategy is to book the best deal you can find now, then keep checking and canceling/rebooking as needed as the deals come out; many times the best deals don%26#39;t come out until a month or so in advance of your dates...

Have a great trip!

I always go in Nov I usualy go out around the 15th %26amp; come home anywhere from the 24th-1st of dec. I find that entire 1st week gambling is not very good, then 20th or so it picks up %26amp; I think its because the 1st week G2E is going on %26amp; thats huge. THis last trip I found the week of thanksgiving I got lucky around Mon-Fri that whole week.

As far as booking a room, you need to see what kind of things you like, check out all the hotels online. some are noisier some are quieter, cleaner, etc. etc.

I am not a real picky person but I like nice if its avaialable for a deal. :)

Not sure if you have ever been before or have players cards anything you have a players card for you can usually get a good deal. I would say decent rate on the strip in middle area is Treasure Island, We got rooms for $60 a nite m-f. Weeekends are not cheap at all out there without a players card. Tropicana is really cheap you can stay in front tower for about $40-$50, BUT its getting pretty rundown %26amp; I have heard tales of bedbugs in SOME rooms but I have stayed there even my last trip I stayed there 2x %26amp; never had issue like that. Imperial Palace is right in middle %26amp; they are cheap too, the rooms were clean I think we had Delux room. It was comped but I think to book outright was like $30 nite? Plus if you gamble while there they often will comp you the room anyway.

I would not go from the 3rd to the 9th- a convention with 130,000 people would probably the rates highter.

Stay at any hotel at center strip (Flamingo/strip). This would include Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Bally%26#39;s, Falmingo, Paris, Bill%26#39;s. From any of these hotels you can easily walk to the casinos on the south end of the strip and many on the north end of the strip.

The weather can be great- or very cold. I went at the beginning of November and for Thanksgiving week-end for 7 years. At the beginning of NovemberI was able to swim some years, just sunbathe other years and some years I could do neither- it was too cool/cloudy/windy. I was never able to swim near Thanksgiving. But it is a nice time to go since the weather usually isn%26#39;t blazing hot or terribly cold. Bring clothes that can be layered.

We love Vegas the week leading up to Thanksgiving. I just priced Bellagio out at $111 a night for 11/22-11/27. And you can generally get reasonable flights on these days too as they are not peak Thanksgiving flights.
