Free play on slots

I just picked up my copy of the ACG. There are numerous coupons for free slot for signing up for their players clubs. For the free plays do they make you play a certain machine/machines for that free play or can you choose any of the machines at the casino?

The best coupon I saw was $200 in free play at Hooters Casino. Will definitely hit that one.

Hooters is the very one to avoid.

Free play there goes like this....you are sign up, then you are directed to a bank of machines roped off from the rest. These only pay off if a jackpot is hit, and pay nothing on smaller wins.

When your credits are exhausted, you then follow the queue line where you are accosted by the time share maggots.

Casino Royale on the strip is very similar, although the TS hawkers are a little less aggressive.

I agree about Hooter%26#39;s free play, however, if we hadn%26#39;t been suckered in by the $100 each ';free play'; gimmick, we wouldn%26#39;t have won $500 on the $.25 WOF there. We each won 1000 coins on a WOF free spin right after we used all of our free play.

If Hooter%26#39;s had not had the $100 free play offer, most likely we wouldn%26#39;t have ever gone there. We liked the atmosphere of the casino....and I%26#39;m not talking about the waitresses. lol It%26#39;s a small, intimate casino. We%26#39;ll go back...

I figure I%26#39;ll go ahead and do the Hooters thing since it $200 free play with the coupon. Why not. As far as the time share people, they don%26#39;t bother me. I have friends that go looking for those time share people just to get whatever they are offering. LOL

Luckily the CW will stop by. I did it for $100 and had to sit there for an hour. I didn%26#39;t hit one of the jackpots, just enough smaller wins to prolong the experience. Yeah, it%26#39;s pretty lame.

However, when you join the slot club, they do give you sheet of coupons; free show, free drink at Dixie%26#39;s, other discounts. I stayed and played awhile, 2 hours, about 300 points worth. When I got home, I had an offer in my email for 2 free nights and another from the slot host asking me to call. They do this for just about everyone that spends a little time in their casino.

Never been harrassed by time share shills in 2 stays and 5 visits. I must look really poor.

Last year there were four of us that tried. Then it was $100. The wife won $50 so it worked out for us. We told the TS people no and that was pretty much it. I do like the places that just put it on your card and you can use it on which ever machine you choose.

Before risking your luck on free credits wander around the casino and see what machines accept them, the El Cortez and I think the golden Nugget for instance have many such machines but the one at Hooters is as described.

At the Venetian and at PH, you had to play on certain marked machines, but it was like 80% at the Venetian, and probably the same at PH. it was a sign on the machines that said ';free play accepted here';

I figure there%26#39;s no risk at all for playing with free credits. So why not?
