Hey Everyone,
Headed to Vegas next week and had a question regarding check in and being a Total Reward Member. We are staying at Bally%26#39;s, but booked through Sunwing Vacations here in Canada. When I check in do I present my rewards card so the card get linked to our room to work towards comps (ie buffets and such). Or am I not eligible to get points on the card through the hotel room because I booked through a travel company??
Just a little confused about such. I may be totally off base and if I am please let me know ;)
cheers!!
Going to Vegas...Total Reward Question.
when in doubt, always show the card! They may not give you room credit, but they%26#39;ll now know you are a card holder, and may offer up a couple other freebies for you to use during your stay.
Going to Vegas...Total Reward Question.
Great point!! I love freebies ;)
Yes give them your card when you check in, you will be able to use your points on the charges you make to your room. Charge everything to your room (Ie buffets and such). When you check out tell them you want to use your points you have accumulated to pay down the new charges to your room.
WHY would you book your room through another place when most likely you could have gotten a better deal directly through total rewards? I NEVER book a package for vegas because almost all the casinos if you JUST have a card with them will give you a freebie or really good deal.
My parents were just there at Sams %26amp; they were booked through sams at $39 a night with 2 free nites. When they left the host gave them all the nites free. My aunt %26amp; uncle got stuck paying for thier room cuz they did a package.
Just a suggestion for best way to get freebies. :)
NOW to answer your question, Yes you should be able to get reward points etc, Honestly I did not get anything on any of my purchases because most of mine was comped but I also did not see this info posted about either %26amp; upon checking they sure dont ask for your card etc..
Spur of the moment trip. Air fare was crazy on it%26#39;s own from Toronto.
As an example, our package was $800 tax in for the two us for 4 nights at Bally%26#39;s through sunwing.
to fly the same dates without hotel it was $1244 tax in through sunwing.
can%26#39;t explain why it%26#39;s that way, all I am saying is we were not passing up that deal ;)
hey must have a serious deal with HET.
You can use your card to get points on your account no matter how you book and you should register your players card at checkin at any hotel you stay in. However, you should be aware that at Harrah%26#39;s, the comps are based on whatever TR points you earn and that they don%26#39;t do discretionary comps as easily as other hotels.
