I am due in Vegas next week for 5 nights and we want to book a couple of restaurants and was thinking of booking the Panevino. Has anyone eaten there recently???
Has anyone eaten at the Panevino recently
I was also looking at this restaurant. Taking my hubby on a helicopter flight for his bd and thought we would go there for dinner following.
Let me know how it is, prices, etc..

Hi there
To be honest we didn%26#39;t have the best experience here. The food prices are reasonable, the wine is expensive but it must be said the view back across Las Vegas is lovely.
However, the service was very poor to the point where we left no gratuity. Being English it could be said we were ignorant but are aware 15%-20% is standard. To sum it up:-
- We ordered bottled water which initially got poured but then an over attentive waiter decided to top the glasses up with tap water - we did complain and got a new bottle.
- I understand they want to make sure we were ok but we got asked 3 times in a matter of minutes asking if everyhting was ok interupting our conversation;
- It is one of those places where the waiter %26#39;remembers%26#39; your order but unfortunately he forgot my partners starter;
- I booked it for my partners birthday but hey bought my the %26#39;cake%26#39; whilst she was in the restroom;
- We were sat by the waiter station and there was constant arguments going on.
- I could mention a coupel of other things but maybe I am being unreasonable.
We paid the bill and whilst we were waiting the waiter was going crazy at not receiving a tip. Eventually, the %26#39;wine director%26#39; came over and we exaplined what the issue was and then the assistant manager. We ended getting the wine removed from our bill and he did say if we go back he will put things right.
The food was really good and worth paying for - just the service on a very special occasion let it down.
LKet me know if you ahve any other questions.
Phil
Sorry to butt in on this tread but we%26#39;ve been thinking about eating at Panevino on our next visit.
Whats the best way to get there? Cab? I believe it%26#39;s off stip - how far away is it?
Thanks
Hehe - no butting in. We did a cab. We stayed at the MGM Signature and it took about 10 mins - the fare was $10-$15.
One good thing about going out here is you go past the %26#39;Welcome to Vegas%26#39; sign.......you could laways ask your driver to stop off so you get a couple of pics....
Enjoy if you go...hope you get good service because the food is good.
Thanks very much. We thought about holding our wedding reception there a couple of years ago but no one responded to any of the emails i sent :( I%26#39;m torn as to whether to try it or not...hmmmmm.
Thanks again
I need to write a review on them really. I am actually back in Vegas ina couple of weeks and am almost tempted to go back to see if they can make amends so that tells me I must have enjoyed something. The food was really good and as I say the views were lovely.
My concern would be if it was a special occasion and the service is a let down it could tarnish the occasion (as it did with my partner%26#39;s birthday).
