I have a MGM PLayers Club ';account';, and after reading another thread here, have logged in to check what current offers I have.
There are 14 offers there! but, they all just show some type of code. Any suggestions on how to decipher what these codes mean?
TIA for any help.
MGM Players Club
It is utterly impossible to determine what you have without calling on almost all but NYNY offers on the MGM-Mirage players club site. Also the exact room type offered will vary by how busy they are the dates you choose to use the offer. A host will have more leeway to upgrade the room type for you than the phone reps in casino marketing. best thing to do is pick a couple potential dates and call for more info.
MGM Players Club
Just wondering what a ';players club account'; is???
I too checked my players club accounts (MGM,Harrah%26#39;s) prior to booking my hotel for April. I was surprised to find a comped room offer since I haven%26#39;t been to Vegas since 10/07 and am not a big gambler. Try double clicking on the offer. If that doesn%26#39;t work, call the hotel for which you have an offer and ask.
You%26#39;ll have to call to get your offers. I expect it%26#39;s designed that way to keep offers FOR members, rather than sharing them with others.
Player%26#39;s Clubs are merely vehicles casinos use to track your gambling and reward you for spending your money at their casino or family of casinos. You%26#39;ll get a player%26#39;s club card which you insert in the machines or hand to the pit boss while you%26#39;re gambling. This card ';tracks'; your gambling and gives the casino basis for comps, offers, etc. You might also get perks for signing up for the player%26#39;s club.
I checked mine yesterday and had three offers for MGM Grand. Checked back today and now have none, anybody have any clues as to why? Thanks
guinnypint,
It probably be a good idea to call MGM vip services and inquire with them. The offers might have been date sensetive but from what i can tell when Ive checked my mgm account it usually for the most part is current and doesnt have many old offers shown.
I like MGM/Mirage, but their playersclub.com website is dreadfully non-user-friendly.
Compared to HET%26#39;s ';Total Rewards,'; which lets you book all your offers directly on the website, and explains them in plain English (instead of coded gibberish!), playersclub.com is pretty lousy.
guinnypint, did you try clicking on that one offer? I have found that when I go into my account, there is always just one offer showing. When I click on it, all the other offers appear below it.
