need help picking hotel!!

well i leave for vegas in 52 days and need to pick a hotel i have reservations at the rio for a very good price.well i looked for some other deals i found the golden nugget for same price i%26#39;m going down for the abc its a bowling tourny for people who dont know so any ideas on what one to pick i%26#39;m a slot player if that helps.

Where is the tourny? Are these the only two hotels you are considering? How long are you staying, what price, anything else important, etc?

Golden Nugget is downtown which is a lot different than the Rio which is just off the Strip.

I agree, we need to know more about your conference to tell you where it%26#39;s better to stay. If this is your first Vegas trip I wouldn%26#39;t suggest staying Downtown and Rio wouldn%26#39;t be my first choice since it%26#39;s slightly off strip.

Will you have a car?

well he last time i was in vegas was 7 years ago and the rate i got was 350$ for the week i have stayed at the mgm last time i was there.i want to get a car jus have to talk the rest of the people going with me to get one

Since the Cashman Center is close to downtown, Golden Nugget would be a perfect place to stay. Very nice hotel, reasonable rates and you%26#39;ll be right on Fremont St.

I agree that Golden Nugget would be a decent location but I still wouldn%26#39;t prefer it for a trip that length, especially since you have a car. Consider something in the north strip area like TI, Harrahs, or Mirage.
