Palazzo or MGM Signature

Hi heading to vegas in May and looking to stay one of the above, which is your favourite and why??

Palazzo or MGM Signature

i%26#39;ve stayed at venetian and sig... i would definitely say palazzo... sig is off the strip and quite a walk to the MGM casino. You have so many more options at palazzo w/ the wynn/encore/venetian/fashion show mall.. etc all right there...

that%26#39;s just my opinion though

plus, i would prefer the pool at palazzo over mgm, b/c mgm has too many kids for my taste

Palazzo easily. More central location, nicer pool and spa, just look more, um, palatial. Sig is excellent, though. Just ok location wise

Sorry to ask this stupid question. But where is Palazzo? Is it the building that was being bulit besides Venetian and in between the WYNN and Venetian?

Palazzo. Sig is not convenient.

MGM Sig is really nice but go with Palazzo closer to all the action on the Strip.

Palazzo for sure! It is our favorite hotel at the moment.

Palazzo is a great hotel and yes, it is in the middle of the strip. However, this means that it is always busy (I%26#39;m not saying this a bad thing) with lots of people in the public areas, valet, pools in the summer etc....

Sig is a much quieter affair. Because it is set back from the strip you are in your own little oasis - if you are looking to sometimes escape from the Strip this can be a good thing. I like the %26#39;personal%26#39; attention that you get at the Sig that can be lacking from the Strip hotels.

If you want to be %26#39;in%26#39; the action then the Palazzo is a great hotel and is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in town. However, if you want to be slightly removed from the Strip then the Sig is a great hotel.

I hope that makes some kind of sense.....

I love the Palazzo! We stayed at the Venetian in 2007 and the Palazzo in 2008. The valet opens our taxi door~ asks us if we%26#39;ve ever stayed at the Palazzo before. We told him we had stayed at the Venetian last year and his response was~ well welcome to the upgrade. He%26#39;s perfectly right. Palazzo is a great hotel and the rooms are gorgeous.

I can%26#39;t say anything about the Sig because i%26#39;ve never stayed there but the Palazzo is more in the center of things.

Palazzo has a casino and the Signature does not, if that is important to you.

Signature gets good reviews, but I don%26#39;t like the location. Also, I like to be able to go downstairs and get some food and hang out late without feeling I must run back to my hotel so I would choose Palazzo.

I like the Signature rooms and bathrooms better than the Palazzo. I%26#39;d choose the Signature unless I was on the concierge level at the Palazzo. But location isn%26#39;t quite so important to me because we usually have a car, though mid strip is quite walkable from the Signature imo.
