Signature or Palms Place

We are going for our first trip to LV to celebrate our anniversary 4/27/09-5/1/09. I%26#39;m looking for a hotel with fabulous but affordable rooms so we can be romantic and stay in but also easy to get to the strip when we want to go out. I%26#39;ve found good deals on both places-any suggestions? I know they are both ';off the strip'; but that%26#39;s ok for when we want to be away from the crowds.

The Sig is a ten min. walk away frm The Strip; Palms Place is like a ten min.drive away...PP is newer but Sig is better location wise. I would go 4 MGM signature.

The Sig. definitely has a better location. You%26#39;ll need to drive to the strip from Palms Place, tho it%26#39;s closer imo than 10 minutes.

I think if you%26#39;re under 40, you%26#39;ll love P.P. Definitely has a younger vibe. The 1 bedroom suite at Palms is very cool if you can get a good deal, I like the jr. suite at the Sig. very much.

I prefer the Signature personally, but they%26#39;re both good.

For the location alone I would definitely go with the Sig. Much easier to explore the other casinos even without a car.
