Valley of Fire In June

Would it be unbearable to vist the valley of Fire in late June? I am thinking of early morning and maybe spending 2-3 hours. I would assume that time of year it would get pretty warm rather quickly.

Valley of Fire In June

It wasn%26#39;t for us and were there around noon...but it is not humid weather like you and I are used to here in the midwest. Just take water and wear sunscreen, and you will enjoy your day :)

Just make sure to take at least a gallon of water.

It shouldn%26#39;t be that bad in the morning but you never know. Our worst heat of the day is from about 2pm to sundown

You can picnic on covered benches at the Seven Sisters area. Bring drinks.

I have even hiked on some of the trails in July and August and lived to tell about it. You have to come prepared: bring plenty (and I do mean plenty) of water. Wear closed shoes- some areas are sandy. Make sure you put loads of suntan lotion on and wear a hat and sunglasses if you are going to hike (and you should- at least on some of the short trails).
