Caesar's Palace

Now considering Caesar%26#39;s instead of Mirage or Paris for our May trip. Are there rennovations at Caesar%26#39;s? If so, what areas? Thanks!

They are in the process of ceasing a new Tower. It was a stage were it wasn%26#39;t that disruptive anyway. They are also doing some work at the pool but we won%26#39;t know if that impacts the area until the pool reopens.

Just two of the entire pool area pools are going to be open until mid June, so there is work going on in that part of Caesar%26#39;s.

Pool area could be iffy in May. Possibly partially closed, possibly noisy from the tail end of the construction work.

If pool is important to you, I%26#39;d say Mirage. Paris pool is not particularly good, and it tends to be COLD in the spring / early summer because the buildings tend to shade it a large portion of the day.

I forgot to add, if you are going to be staying at Caesar%26#39;s be sure to book either an Augustus or Palace Tower room or one of the newly renovated Forum Tower rooms. The others are in sore need of a redo.

Im going May too, 8th to 10th, and also considering CP. Newer stuff: Augustus Tower, done in 2005. Palace tower, done shortly before that.Forum Tower renovated in 2k7,I think. Newest stuff: Octavius Tower, Summer or Fall. Garden of The Gods pool reno:summer. Have fun!

chocopenguin, Palace Tower was there several years before Augustus Tower opened, they did redo the Palace Tower rooms after that. The new Octavus Tower construction is on hold at present, no announcemnt yet as to when it will be finished and pool area isn%26#39;t completley open and not all pools will be finished until mid June sometime.
