Help - The Signature at MGM Grand or paris

first time visitors to the strip in 09/09 from N and have a big dilemma, I am booked to stay at the signature mgm in tower one for 8 nights but are really panicking about the time and distance to get back to the strip especially if you are going out at night etc. I have limited mobility and will be using an electric scooter but i understand its quite the distance

My other option is to be centre strip at Paris, what are the standard rooms like inhere? from the websites they appear to be dated ant not tat flashy? - any advice please help :)

The Sig is great, we stayed there last year and loved it. We were in tower 2 and it was a 5 minute walk from our room to mgm casino. Never stayed at Paris but I highly doubt the rooms are even half as nice as Sig. As for using a scooter you will have no problem getting from your room to the strip in a matter of a couple of minutes.

is the monorail close by to the towers?

If you%26#39;re in a scooter and first time in Vegas, then stay at Paris. It%26#39;s a long ways from the strip to your room at the Sig. You%26#39;ll be charging up them scooter batteries plenty as it is.

Mobility issues and first time - only choice between the Sig and Paris? Do Paris.

I agree with others that the Signature is not the best choice for first visit or mobility issues. But the rooms at Paris will give you much less space than at the Signature. I have stayed at the Signature, not a Paris. The quality and luxury of Signature is high. Read the reviews on standard rooms at Paris; they would seem to be a few steps below.

Having stayed at the SIG last August, there would be no problems if your mobility bound. If u want to go to the other end of the strip, you can use the monorail at MGM which is wheelchair accesable and cheap. Only 5 minutes to the MGM from the SIG via the motorised walkway. You wont get much better rooms other than the SIG, unless your going to pay top dollar.

The momorail station is located next to tower one and should be very convienient if you choose to stay at the Sig.

The Signature is fantastic but I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. Since you have a scooter you will probably be fine but if you are going to try to walk it at all with mobility issues then I would say choose Paris.

I agree do the Paris even though i like the Sig.

MGM Signature has a resort fee right? 15.00 per day or so? It%26#39;s best to find out especially when budgeting for lodging.
