I am getting married in COTF in Sept and wonderinng about extra time on the grounds. I%26#39;m getting the basic photo package but don%26#39;t want to be rushed off the grounds straight afterwards. There is an option to pay $75 for an extra 15 mins on the grounds. Anyone any experience?

yes we took some of our own pics on the grounds whilst we waited for our limo to pick us up the grounds are very nice and our pics were great as were our pics included in the wedding package

I don%26#39;t know where you are having your wedding, but if you hold the ceremony outdoors, (we were in the gazebo), then your photographer will take lots of photos on the grounds. If you have your ceremony indoors, most of your photos will be taken indoors. In that case you may want to pay for the time to take your own outdoor shots.

The photographer who worked with us did a great job. Much better quality photos than we could have taken ourselves. Even though we had only paid for 10 photos, he took a lot more. When it came time to choose just the 10 we wanted to take home, I couldn%26#39;t do it. They%26#39;re your wedding photos--how can you choose 10 and let the rest get thrown away?

We ended up paying a ton of money so that we could take home the whole photo CD. It would have been smarter for us to purchase a better package up front with more photos included. Of course that%26#39;s just my opinion, not everybody is so sentimental :)

We also renewed our vows at night in the gazebo. So after everything was finished, while we were waiting for a cab, we also took our own pictures outside. Nobody complained or said anything. And then the next day we went back and took pictures of the chapel itself.

Yes, we have one of the chapels booked so I may go with the extra time on the grounds. I%26#39;d hate to be pushed out the door straight afterwards. Thanks for the help!
