Venetian Tax Rebate?

I just got an offer in the mail. If I cash my federal tax refund at Venetian/Palazzo, they will give me additional slot credits. So, $1000 refund equals the $1000 cash plus $400 is slot credits. Wow! Sounds too good to be true....and of course I got direct deposit!

Has anyone ever done this before at a casino?

Does anyone know how to stop direct deposit and request a check??? :)

Many locals places have offered ';cash your pay check here and get...'; whatever. It%26#39;s only ';too good to be true'; if you don%26#39;t spend any of your refund at the casino. Unless that%26#39;s what you were planning on doing with it anyway...

For those of us who may not get refunds---can we get something if we bring in a copy of our cancelled check showing our payment?
